Hosted by Fraser Coast Tourism and Events and World Cetacean Alliance, World Whale Conference 2019 is coming to Hervey Bay Queensland near our Urangan accommodation.
To be held over four days, World Whale Conference will feature a variety of conference talks and workshops on the welfare, research and conservation of all cetacean species, inviting environmentalists, students, tourists and the general public to participate, learn and share ideas.
Come along to hear from special guest speakers, join in activities and meet fellow conservationists and eco-activists with the shared desire to learn about whales themselves and their migration patterns, conservation for whales and dolphins, sustainable tourism and how to better protect our world’s oceans and aquatic species in general.
Hervey Bay itself is the leading tourism destination for whale watching in Australia, making it the ideal location for 2019 World Whale Conference - the first event to be held in Oceania. The theme of the summit is ‘Journeys that Inspire Change’, guaranteeing something for all to learn, take away and be inspired by.
Attend this spring - World Whale Conference 2019 will take place in Hervey Bay Fraser Coast across October 8th to October 11th.
