Walk4BrainCancer - Cooper’s Walk was founded three years ago by Fraser Coast parents Michael and Amanda Christensen in loving memory of their courageous four-year-old son Cooper, who was lost to a brain tumour on July 25, 2015. For anyone that has an experience with brain cancer, Walk4BrainCancer - Cooper’s Walk takes place each year in a bid to raise awareness and funds, and in its last two years it attracted hundreds of walkers and raised almost $40,000 for The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. This 2018, Walk4BrainCancer - Cooper’s Walk will aim to raise even more for research with another 3-kilometre community walk in Hervey Bay, Fraser Coast, and it invites everyone to come along and join in. Along with the walk there’ll be Cure Brain Cancer Merchandise, raffles, as well as food and drinks after the event.
Walk4BrainCancer - Cooper’s Walk will take place in Bill Fraser Park in Torquay, Fraser Coast on November 24.

Join in the walk and help raise awareness and funds for brain cancer and childhood cancer with Walk4BrainCancer - Cooper’s Walk, which will be hosting its third annual walk this 2018. For those coming from afar, the walk will be taking place near our Urangan accommodation.
