Catch the live act to beat all live acts. Hervey and the Humpbacks are set to light Hervey Bay on fire as they leap up out of the water, thump their huge fins and flap their tails up to thirty times in five minutes.
Approximately 13,000 humpback whales travel from Antartica to Whitsunday Islands from late July to November thereby allowing locals and visitors to watch in awe as these marvelous mammals perform in Hervey Bay.
The charisma of these humpbacks is legendary. Make sure to grab a front row seat as they do their playful antics.
Expect the humpbacks to be as friendly as the locals. Believe it or not, Harvey Bay is the sole place in the entire world where these whales stop by and actually play. They even swim alongside sea vessels and roll their bodies to have a better look at their eager audience. The humpbacks also respond to and very much appreciate applause.
Hervey and the Humpbacks will be joined by a slew of sea performers such as the dolphins, green turtles, and the dugongs.
Prepare to face 40 tonnes of majestic aquatic mammals and make sure to see their positively unforgettable jaw-dropping animal magnetism. The event is a short drive and walk from our Resort Hervey Bay.
