
The Hervey Bay Historical Village & Museum holds more than 8,000 historical items of authentic furnishings, clothing, household items as well as wagons used by early settlers way back in the 1800s.
Demonstrations of how people during the 1800s did blacksmithing, early timber work, rope making, corn shelling, pig weighing, tree pulling and washing day can also be seen.
The museum is located at 13 Zephyr Street, Scarness and is open every Friday and Saturday from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. It is also open every Sunday from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Admission for adults is $7.00. Students can enter the museum for $2.00. Admission for primary students is $1.00.
