Eat your heart out and enjoy all the seafood you can eat at the Hervey Bay Seafood Festival – as served and managed by the men and women who caught them.
Expect a wide range of dishes from a slew of stalls. Choose from seafood fired rice, prawn skewers, prawn rolls, Filipino noodles and spring rolls, veggie fried rice, coriander prawns, crumbed calamari, langos, fish kebabs and many more – and that’s just a few of the main dishes.
For dessert, savor strawberry sundaes, cheesecakes, coffee, churros, ice creams.
Those who want a formal dining experience can have one at the Tastes of the Bay long lunch event.
After all that eating, you can also take home a few prizes from the event. Get a chance to win hand-crafted jewellery as designed by Stephen Haigh Jewellers and a seafood voucher from Australian Ocean King Prawn Company during the first draw.
For the second draw, win three prizes of seafood hampers that total to $1,000 and support the Urangan Point State School.
The Hervey Bay Seafood Festival will take place on August 11, 2013 at the Fishermen’s Park, Urangan Boat Harbour, Hervey Bay. It is a very quick walk from our Holiday Hervey Bay.
The festival was established in 1998 and has gathered more than 10,000 seafood lovers in Fisherman’s Park. So far, the Hervey Bay Seafood Festival is Australia’s largest seafood picnic.
All paying festival attendees will receive a ticket that will qualify them in the lucky gate draw.
